This one on one yoga session provides a custom approach for each student. Michelle will assess individuals needs and tailor a program that will maximize their health benefits. Whether you have never taken a yoga class and are interest in exploring what it has to offer, or are a seasoned teacher, Michelle Yoga’s private sessions will take your health and practice to the next level.
Asana – Come get one on one instruction on that tough pose, let Michelle advise you on specific routines to take your practice to the next level or have a personalized home practice designed to suit your specific needs.
Yoga Therapy – Designed to meet the students’ specific needs due to illness, ageing or injury. As an experienced certified Yoga Therapist, Michelle has been serving the community through group and private classes in the hospital rehabilitation system as well many senior centers throughout Victoria since 2006 (over 5000 hours of yoga therapy experience). Michelle helps individuals develop a personal practice specifically designed to rehabilitate both body and mind. Yoga therapy is for people willing to commit to a regular practice in order to heal physical or emotional ailments.
Pranayama – Taught one on one for students who wish to develop a safe Pranayama practice.
Yoga Nidra Meditation – A guided meditation allowing access to our subconscious mind. This type of meditation is designed to allow participants not only the well-being of deep relaxation, but also to reinforce good habits and change undesired habits. Yoga Nidra has proven very effective in many areas of health including insomnia, pain management, dealing with loss, goal setting and improving relationships. It has been beneficial in the healing process of physical, mental, emotional & spiritual trauma.
Meditation – Learn traditional Yogic meditation techniques as outlined in the Yoga Sutras.
Kriyas – Yogic cleansing techniques taught privately to individuals or small groups.
